Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Corporation (Head Office: Osaka City; President & Representative Director: Masayuki Mitsuka) announced today that the Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Corporate Report 2018 and CSR Activities Report 2018 received the Award of Merit in the Environmental Report Section of the 22nd Environmental Communication Awards.

　The objectives of the Environmental Communication Awards are to promote corporate initiatives in the fields of environmental management and environmental communications and to enhance the quality of environmental information disclosure by recognizing excellent environmental reports and environmental activity reports. This award program is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment and the Global Environmental Forum.

　Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma's receipt of this award recognizes the Company's enthusiastic initiatives in environmentally-friendly management and our aggressive information disclosure activities. These include the Corporate Report 2018, which provides an overview of environmental activities targeting value creation and sustainable growth; the CSR Activities Report 2018, which includes details about our results with challenging targets for the reduction of CO2 emissions; and our disclosure of abundant, detailed CSR-related data.
